Paris Fashion Week AW/14 with BALENCIAGA & House of Harlot
The AW/14 Balenciaga Collection features the Latex & Knit pieces the team at House of Harlot have produced for the fantastic Balenciaga team in these innovative and stylish Knit bonded with Latex Rubber outfits. It is a mix that was mistaken by many for embossed patent leather. In the photo above, it features our yellow knit latex jacket with a maroon collar and fastens down the front.
These looks caused quite a stir in Paris and we were thrilled to be able to work on them. VOGUE reported that 'Knit was molded and sculpted to arc and flow around the body, slicked with latex (Wang revealed it had to be massaged in by hand, otherwise it would run like a bad paint—or nail—job)….’
